Nutter Meme Makeover!

Who doesn't  enjoy transformations and makeovers!  Now let's make over some of the most oft shared pit bull propaganda memes.  It was felt that the "before" pic was not needed, because the following six memes have been around quite some time now, and it's time they received a dose of TRUTH.

The coconut meme still persists despite many scholarly derailments.  You would think that nutters would THINK....when's the last time you even saw a coconut tree in your neighborhood?

The crazy coconut meme inspired a poem.

This is the favorite shared by the college educated vegan rescue angel.  What the dear well meaning darlings do not seem to understand, it would really help  pit bulls if we could regulate who could own them.

Mr. President put out his finger in the wind one day when Cesar Milan showed up at his door step.  I think a crowd of victims need to do the same.

I suspect there are a good many people who don't even know what BSL is, and it would be fair to explain why there is a pit bull pissing on the letters BSL...

This is such a classy advocacy!

Political correctness works, this is why pit bull advocates grip and hold, and don't let go.

I've seen this one shared in the news media, on the Huffington Post and even on the wall of my local shelter, it looks so scientific.  The original doesn't explain what the American Temperament Society is testing for.  Pit bull advocates can also not make the claim "it's all how you raise em", if they are going to share this erroneous information, because it contains a list of popular breeds that collectively score lower on this test for Schutzhund prospects than do pit bulls (which do not exist and no one can tell what one looks like), but collectively and all added up together for the last twenty years, kill and maim less.   Yeah, these other breeds score lower on the American Temperament Society Test because weirdos and guns scare them, but isn't it all how you raise 'em?

If you have ideas for nutter meme make overs, let us know.  We adore sprucing things up with truth and explanations!

The Growing List Against B.S.L.

College educated vegan rescue princesses are not the only ones who oppose B.S.L.

Dogfighters also oppose B.S.L. as does Miley Cyrus

Just so you know, the Skinheads
are also showing their support in opposing B.S.L.

The pit bull advocacy calls this "winning".

There are also cases of skin-heads using pit bulls as weapons in hate crimes.

According to the Anti-Defamation League, the image of the pit bull has been adopted as a symbol by Neo-Nazis.

"The pit bull has long been used as a skinhead symbol, presumably because of its reputation as a "fighting" dog. Many racist skinheads and other white supremacists own or even raise pit bulls. White supremacists use one specific pit bull graphic so often that it has become a white supremacist symbol itself. One racist skinhead group, the Keystone State Skinheads (at one time known as Keystone United) even adopted it as part of their logo."

Isn't that ironic that the Anti-Defamation League writes, presumably because of its reputation as a "fighting dog"?  The pit bull advocates need to get on the ADL's case about perpetuating the horrible image of these dogs, how dare they defame the name!  How dare they suggest that they link ownership to this group, what will become of the "Majority" project!

We Simply Must Save them ALL!

Pit bull advocates claim there is a media bias when it comes to news reports about pit bulls.  They also claim that the media incorrectly identifies pit bulls, especially in the serious and fatal maulings of animals and people, which they do frequently.

Another type of media report that happens daily is when  someone's sweet pibbly wibbly got shot by law enforcement. Is this just continuing the trend of the media's role in "fear mongering"?  Or, does it suggest that there is some other agenda, casting the police as trigger happy,  creating more outrage toward those hired to protect the safety of the public?  Or, are  they making gestures toward reparations of the image that according to pit bull advocates, they have created,  unwittingly inspiring more outrage towards the police and another wounded or dead pit bull martyr?

It seems these days, after one report of pit bulls being pit bulls or some cop goes bang bang on a pit bull running amok, there seems to be two of the third kind of media report about pit bulls.  Maybe a smattering of two, three, five.  Perhaps there is a nutter on staff who will provide the "balance", and will crank out one of these kind of stories designed to tug at the heart strings of all, even those of the "hater" types.

This kind of media report that seems to feature some poor abused pit bull, which of course do not exist and no one can correctly identify.

At twenty pounds and with no face, can we tell this is a pit bull?

"Let's save the 20 pound  two year old  emaciated dog who  is missing upper jaw is the result of unknown trauma, who also has a fractured pelvis  which has caused limited use of her hind legs. In addition, she has multiple litters of puppies. Her injuries are consistent with having had been used as a bait dog when she no longer was needed for breeding.  (That's right, dog fighters feel the need to breed more curs and bait dogs, that's how it works!) For now, Khalessi has been prescribed a special diet, and plans will be made for future surgeries to help her walk and make her aesthetically more pleasing.   Donate today."
In a politically correct world, this type of story should shut of those naysayers who claim that,  these dogs are dangerous and should be banned or at least regulated.   But THIS dog, poor thing, look at how abused it was, you suggest a humane needle of sleepy juice,  you are MEAN!  Let's let this tortured creature live on, because it's humane!
Without a Home: Kitten anesthetized before euthanasia.

Meanwhile, this kitten, healthy and sweet, was euthanized because there was no more room at the shelter, and for some odd reason, rescuing a healthy kitten  doesn't make one feel better or like so much of a hero as a emaciated pit bull, former bait dog and breeding bitch, who is missing half her face, needs several procedures in order to walk, and will need special food for the rest of her life. You'll be a hero, taking her out to poop.   You can write a book on it and maybe be able to promote it on the Rachel Ray Show. Caching!

Goody Goody for you!

The Wagging Tail of the Dog that Nearly Killed Father Christmas

A  (TRUE) Christmas Story by She Who Sees

Santa Claus has got allergies. He's allergic to dogs. ALL dogs. It's a well-kept secret once only spoken of in murmurs in the magical grottos where Elves tap tiny hammers at wooden toys, and write software programmes for PlayStation 4 games. But not anymore.... Santa's secret is OUT. He's a geezer with a wheezer, he is Santa the Panter.

So there he sat, the jolly gentleman in red, his beard snow-white and fluffy, his girth wide and welcoming, his voice booming with endearing conviction 'Ho Ho Ho', a happy queue of parents with their tiny excited charges before him, a sack of gifts at his boot-clad feet, when suddenly....
Pit Bull Mommy, Pit Bull Daddy, their sweet little girl, and her 'Service Dog Pit Bull' arrive.
A Concerned Staff Member who knew of poor Santa's canine dilemma (those Elves are such terrible gossips), steps up to whisper in Santa's tickly whiskers, "is it okay for this short-haired dog to come hither, Santa dear?" to which our seasonal friend cringed, wheezed, wiped his eyes, and pleaded 'no, please no, anything, ANYTHING, but not dogs; alas, I could die, right here, amidst the tinsel and the toys, I have to think of my 'elf'.
Oh-so-gently did the Concerned Staff Member reveal poor Santa's doggy dilemma to the Pit Bull Mommy and the Pit Bull Daddy, but did they understand? DID they worry that poor Santa, after HUNDREDS of years of service to the young and the innocent, might actually cock his toes and fall off his perch, right there, today, in front of them all; Santa himself, flopping around like a landed fish, legs akimbo, wheezing like a grampus on 60 smokes a day?
No. They didn't. They got mad. They got Pit Bull mad. They called Santa a 'Nancy'!!! And worse!!! So too was the concerned Staff member abused as the Pit Bull Parents forgot ALL about their sweet little daughter, and proceeded to RANT and to RAGE and to THREATEN and to BLUSTER. Everyone was so upset! The sweet little girl cried! The crowd watched, enthralled and repelled - who needs a Christmas Pantomime; it was right there, in front of them, for free!
The Pit Bull Parents were escorted from the building; they were NOT to be reasoned with. They demanded names; they demanded retribution; they swore like fish-wives. They wanted their damn moment with Santa as he flopped around in his grotto, dying from anaphylactic shock, turning purple in the face, hurling wrapped gifts asunder as he tried to draw breath through the miasma of Pit Bull dander - how DARE Santa threaten to die when THEY wanted to show everyone their Service Dog Pit Bull could be JUST like any other Service Dog, and was absolutely NOT a representative of a dog that not only killed more children than all other breeds combined, but was in truth only a threat to the life and welfare of fat old Santas with allergy problems!
And away to the media they went, hauling their harnessed Service Doggie and their weeping child behind them. An outrage! Beastly old Santa must hate Pit Bulls! He must be a racist Santa! And that Concerned Staff Member was a Pit Bull racist too! Man the guns! Circle the wagons! Put on an Oscar-winning performance! Louder! Don't bully my breed! Chihuahua's are more dangerous! Get educamated, Santa!
But a nasty derpish moment did await the Pit Bull Parents.... Oh dear. For the Concerned Staff Member was ACTUALLY a life-long Pit Bull OWNER, and she KNEW that poor Santa would have shuffled off his mortal coil in the presence of ANY dog, not just a Pit Bull. My goodness - for perhaps the first time in history, a Chihuahua WAS actually as dangerous to someone as a Pit Bull! And so the Concerned Staff Member came out in a huff of righteous seasonal indignation to set the record straight on a Facebook Pitter Page called Pup-cake the Service Dog, much to the chagrin of the slowly-deflating Pit Bull Parents and the myriad horde of frothing Pit Bull Nutters attendant at all such media events. Silence may not be an option for the advocates of Pit Bull victims and survivors, but even these zenith-point Nutters knew that perhaps silence was a better option, once one has been revealed to be a bit of a moon-calf. And of course, the admin of Pup-cake the Service Dog seem to believe in silence TOO - they don't want to hear ANYTHING that might cast a hint of a doubt on the feckless idea of a Pit Bull as a Service Dog, as they swiftly delete ALL posts that may call them to account for their Santa-endangering actions...
And so ends (or perhaps just begins) the bizarre and yet rather predictable tale of Pit Bull Parents who forgot their humanity, of a wonderful Santa who adored children but tried to draw the line at DYING for the sake of a child with a Pit Bull, a Concerned Staff Member of decency who loves Pit Bulls but didn't fancy performing CPR on Father Christmas, and a Service Dog Pit Bull who unwittingly nearly snuffed poor Santa before he had even had the chance to draw his Ventolin inhaler and suck lustily on it.

Oh these Pit Bull Parents! Never a dull moment! Merry Christmas, one and all! Merry bloomin' Christmas!!!

Despite statements from the manager,  according to the spotlight agenda driven parents of...here goes...Abcde, they are gloating that this "Bad Santa" and the elf has been fired.  Got to love their concern for other people with health conditions!

Here's the spin from Pup-cake's kitchen!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Orange County Grinch disguised as Santa attempts to ruin Christmas
Little girl with autism is turned away from Santa because of pit bull service dog

Mission Viejo, California, US November 30, 2014

A little girl with autism waited patiently in line today to meet Santa; not to ask Santa for anything but to ask Santa what he wanted himself for Christmas.

Autism is accompanied by many sensory issues, included self-harm behaviors and feeling overwhelmed at times by lights, sounds, especially when waiting; Pup-cake the service dog’s job is to intervene in those moments.

A family should be celebrating tonight the accomplishment of a child who waited over thirty minutes (Waiting for thirty minutes is not an accomplishment!) today at The Shops in Mission Viejo to meet Santa. To her dismay, Santa was afraid of her service dog, a sweet pit bull with as patient a disposition as Abcde, only to be turned away due to what we can only assume is the influence of BSL (breed specific legislation). (ASSUME is right, because BSL is not legal in this state, yet.  According to the testimony of the manager, ASSES are exactly what you made of yourself, and you are responsible for upsetting your child.) After the Santos family offered to remove the dog from the area, the building, Santa still refused to see the child; sending her away heartbroken leaving a family to comfort a child instead of celebrating her accomplishments.

The family is dealing with the law-breaking Santa imposter (is he anything like the imposter service dog and your imposter outrage?) and his Elf assistant, and has contacted Simon Property Group, and the management at The Shops at Mission Viejo; their goal is primarily and always to educate and inform those ignorant of the American Disabilities (allergies, anyone?) Act to ensure there are no more victims. They will also be reaching out to Noerr Programs Corporation.

Tonight, in the hopes of reigniting the holiday spirit in a crushed child, I ask one favor.

#savePupcakesChristmas#savePupcakesChristmas

Please get out your best Elf costumes, your Santa hats, your beards, your jingle bells and reindeers and bring on the holiday cheer!  Let’s rally together and show Abcde that the REAL Santa, in fact, LOVES her and her dog. Then she can consume these videos in her time in her own home.

Please share your videos using #savePupcakesChristmas and share to your social media. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook – we’ll find them!  Yes, Abcde, there really is a Santa Claus… and he LOVES Pup-cake.  (WE NEED SOME MORE ATTENTION, WE NEED TO STIR UP OUTRAGE WHERE THERE IS NONE!)

#savePupcakesChristmas
How many of you will need your own emotional support Tiger to deal with the PTSD this creature will inspire?

This is only the second act.  What they may be fishing for, is their own reality series.  Stay tuned into the real Pit Nutter Circus, starring Pup-cake the fake service dog, Abcde, and some assorted attention hungry grifters.

The Freedom of Speech Follies!

One of the things that strikes me most about pit bull advocates, is how they fight to end BSL, a freedom to own any breed of dog without any regulations or policy, but will throw my favorite concept...the freedom of speech baby....out of the window on any one or entity that dares to express their observation that pit bulls are dangerous.  I call HYPOCRITE!

Here's their angle: They may use the scenario of appealing to your right to freedom, and how dare you dis the "American Dog", the symbol of freedom itself.  "If they ban pit bulls, your breed will be next"....

Let's look at a list things that are banned:

Haggis, how RACIST!

Large Soda Pops in New York City. Now if you are thirsty in the Big Apple, you will need to purchase two medium sodas.

Lawn Darts,  due to 4 deaths.  I sure miss them. They would sure come in handy with pit bulls running amok.....

Cat and Dog fur products, even though this is blatant specisism, even the skins of goats, sheep, and beef,  had fur or hair on them before it was removed and ordained into leather.  In any case, in the U.S.A. we render cat and dog fur into lip stick and crayons. The raw materials for these products brought to you by the backyard breeders of America. Into the mix, a good million pit bulls.

Today, I heard of communities hinting of banning their sports programs because they are too dangerous.  And a hot topic right now,  after the horrible shootings by mentally unstable people, again we explore whether or not our rights to bear arms should be an American tradition that continues.  People elect to participate in sports, and guns don't somehow and go off and shoot on their own, and they are REGULATED!

Yet municipalities in the most free country on the face of this beautiful spinning planet have elected to have restrictions, added policy, and all out bans on that certain strain of gripping dog, and there are countries who have decided that they should be banned entirely for the greater good of protecting the public from what these dogs can do...what they do on a near daily basis.

If that patriotic appeal fails to hit the desired target, they draw out their guns and shoot another one of their usual scripted arguments, well "All dogs bite, any dog could have done that". So therefore, if we follow the syllogism they have set up.....

Pit Bulls are dogs.
All dogs are dangerous.
Therefore, pit bulls are dangerous.

AND THEN SOME!~MOW

If you think this is only a volatile American issue, think again.  Here is an article from New Zealand, which expresses the anger of pit bull owners incited over comments made by an  SPCA official that the breed is "bad to the bone."

SPCA Executive Director Bob Kerridge last week said pit bulls are the exception to the rule that dogs are not born bad.

"The pit bull is the exception to the way we talk about dogs. No dogs are born bad, except pit bulls - owners make them bad," he said.

The pit bull advocates and owners were outraged.

Karen Batchelor of the American Pit Bull Terrier Association says Australian and American SPCAs run pit bull adoption programmes and believes Kerridge's comments would find little support from veterinarian associations.

That's because pit bulls are good for business. They have a high susceptibility of contracting  Parvo and Mange, they attack other family and neighborhood pets, and that brings in a good grand per case, and then of course, there are the euthanizations and cremations that follow..  CaCHING! ~MOW

"I don't understand how the SPCA can allow him to speak like this about the breed, simply based on his own views," whined some pit bull advocate.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH? Should dogs be  protected from slander and libel, do they care?
 ~ MOW

The messages have prompted SPCA Auckland to issue a statement.

"The Auckland SPCA considers the risks associated with adopting pit bulls or pit bull crosses too high given the Dog Control Act declares them to be dangerous and we believe we have a duty of care to the community."

But the advocate protested that, Kerridge's comments are misleading.

But so were her responses, in fact, blatant lies.  One of the freedoms enjoyed by this particular advocate, is the ability to regurgitate lies and half truths. ~MOW

"No breed of dog ever deserved this wrap  and over the years it's been rottweilers, dobermans, German shepherds, and before then, believe it or not, newfoundlands and even bloodhounds have been the 'demon dogs' of the day."

Was this her written statement?  She needs to be educated! ~MOW

Be sure to take a peek at the results of the in the now closed poll...looks like Bad to the Bone won readily over the Big Softies and I don't know(53/38/8).  HIP HIP HOORAY!

Yes, the pit bull advocacy works harder at silencing any attempts of using their mascot in any marketing, unless it is "positive", than they do of educating owners to be responsible.  Their memes are failing them.

Recall the outrage over the McDonald's Chicken McNugget Campaign.

Chicken McNuggets or Petting a Stray Pit Bull?

The ad discussed risks, among them "petting a STRAY pit bull". Some more logical pit bull advocates retorted, well petting ANY stray dog is risky.  So therefore, let's follow the logic...

Pit bulls are dogs.
Petting a stray dog is risky.
Therefore, petting a stray pit bull is risky.

I don't know, is petting a stray pit bull more risky than eating a Chicken McNugget?  It would be nice to be given the freedom of the option with pit bulls running amok and a lone chicken McNugget sitting on the table...which one may maul you, which one may give you the trots? Ironically, the theme explored by the ad campaign was RISK....and the concept was that we are free to choose it.

The result was, the ad campaign was silenced, and Pink Slime was banned.

Oh, and Happy Meals are banned in San Francisco as well as any trips to Arizona by city workers.  No Grand Canyon for you lovely people with the flowers in your hair, who live in the lovely city by the bay.

Recently a photo of a product called "Pit Bull Defence Maximum Spray" that was sold to a limited market at Walgreen's outraged pit bull advocates and owners enough to deluge the Walgreen's facebook page (I'm sure their other contacts as well) with their outrage. It inspired the creation of a  page just for destroying Walgreen's reputation for destroying the pit bull's reputation, for which, let me say again...

THEY ARE DOGS AND THEY DO NOT GIVE A FLYING F^@K WHAT PEOPLE THINK OF THEM!  This is the ONLY case, where pit bulls are just dogs, with due respect to pit bulls which kill a human every 14 days in the U.S.A..

The page persists, despite the fact that the official Walgreen's facebook page made an apology, and said they have since pulled the product and sent it back to the manufacture.

We apologize to everyone about the pit bull spray that was sold at a few isolated locations. We can assure you that this was not a corporately purchased item. It was never our company’s intent to condone the inappropriate singling out of any one breed of dog. Instead, a very small number of our stores obtained it for sale on their own. As a result of us becoming aware of the product, we have told those few stores who are carrying the item to stop selling it immediately. We also will ensure other locations don't carry it, too. Thank you and be well."

DAMN, I want some of that!

Here are some of their comments, copied and pasted.

Boycott Walgreens. Save the pit bulls its the message behind the product... a spray designated for protecting your self from pitbulls... it should be a spray protecting you from a vicious stray dog... its discriminating to the breed and walgreens has supported this

Boycott Walgreens. Save the pit bulls hope your 8.99$ was worth a destroyed reputation and ALOT of angry dog lovers

Boycott Walgreens. Save the pit bulls
REMOVAL OF THIS PRODUCT OFF SHELVES IS NOT ENOUGH.
THE DAMAGE IS DONE AND THE ONLY WAY TO REVERSE THE NEGATIVE STATEMENT THIS COMPANY HAS SUPPORTED IS BY ASKING
1. THOSE 'MANAGERS' OF THAT REGION WHO PURCHASE THE SPRAY, TO DO SOME COMMUNITY OUTREACH AT A LOCAL SHELTER AND EDUCATE THEMSELVES IN THE TRUE NATURE OF THE BREED.
2. APPOLGIZE TO ITS CUSTOMERS
3. DONATE TO ONE OF THE LARGEST PITBULL RESCUES IN THE COUNTRY,VILLALOBOS (AKA pitbulls and parolees) of LOUISIANA.

This is a copied statement, original spelling intact.  Notice that they are unable to spell the words apologize and pit bull(s) correctly, but they seek to "educate".
It would be wonderful to have this product available, in fact, just two days ago I had another close call and was saved by a nice lady who cut it off with her van, WHEW!!!
Alas! The pit bull advocacy has hindered my consumer choice of a product I would purchase wanting to protect myself from their consumer choice in dog breed. My curiosity piqued searching for the product on line, I ran into several discussions on to whether or not pepper spray or mace is actually effective on pit bulls.  I got mixed results.

Now note, this is a testimonial that says that "Pepper Spray works on most dogs, EVEN pit bulls.  So that little word EVEN, suggests that pit bulls are a separate class.  They didn't write, EVEN Cocker Spaniels, Daschunds, or Chihuahuas, even though they are the scourge according to Animal Control, causing the majority of the problems about the town.

There are cases, where it appears that pepper spray or mace is not strong enough, and you have to go for something designed to repel GRIZZLY BEARS.  That's right, GRIZZLY BEARS!

I found this testimonial and accompanied video.  I watched it with delight a good dozen times.  Turn on the Calliope Music and watch!
So I searched for this product on line, and guess what I found......

"A Charging Grizzly Bear is NOT the same thing as a mugger on a street corner, or EVEN a charging pit bull"

Even with the negation in the use of the word "NOT" , the images and associations are made. For instance, René Magritte explored this concept of the mind, with a series of paintings, this being one of the most iconic.

This is not a pipe.

That's right, in effort to keep visitors to a National Park safe one of our government agencies has dared to muddy the reputation of America's Dog by having it share a sentence with a charging grizzly bear and a mugger on a street corner.  These days, muggers on street corners may come with a pit bull, just sayin'.  They didn't write a charging DOG, a charging Cocker Spaniel, a charging Daschund, a charging Chihuhua, no they wrote CHARGING PIT BULL.  Why did they make this particular choice?
This is  a little experiment to see how long it takes before the pit bull advocacy catches wind of this horrible libel to the pit bull. Let's see how long before it takes that there is a "Boycott Yellowstone, save the image of the pit bull" page on facebook, and this PSA is pulled or the language changed so they can spare their employees the constant dealings with this group of people who consistently show their egos are too fragile to possibly contain the gritty mindset that cares more about safety than they do about the reputation of a dog. They whine, they complain, they demand reparations to the damage of the image of a DOG. The dog doesn't care.  They do.

And remember..... A pit bull is a dog.  All dogs are dangerous.  Pit Bulls are dangerous.

Some dogs are more dangerous than others.  Viva la freedom of speech, Baby!

Political Circus

It seems for quite a while now, the political cartoonist has utilized the image, reputation, and symbol of the pit bull or it's older cousin, the Bulldog,  to illuminate their satire.  Of course, not only is the nature and reputation of the dog...its gripping tenacious and vicious talent useful in creating meaning, but the grotesque physic  needs not much exaggeration to generate a truly humorous effect.    These days, with pit bulls making headlines of their own, it's easy for these humorists to achieve an easy double entendre.

Cesar Milan lamented on this fact, boo hoo hoo hoo....that the pit bull again "victimized" again, being utilized as a symbol for political satire and rhetorical art. He just needs to get over it.  Chihuahuas, Cocker Spaniels and Daschunds have reputations too (being always drug into the conversation about BSL by pit bull advocates) , but as metaphors and similes.... just wouldn't conjure up the same strong images and connotations.

"As I was browsing the news this week, a headline caught my eye: “Romney Takes Pit Bull Approach in Florida.” I looked at Junior and wondered if the journalist meant that Romney was going to become a calm-submissive presence, devoted to the American people. But of course, that was not they meant. They meant that Romney was going to fiercely attack his opponents, or in the journalist’s eyes, act like a pit bull. Seeing pit bulls being referred to in this manner upset me of course, but didn’t surprise me. If any of the candidates running for office think they have image problems, they have nothing on a pit bull."

Boo hoo hoo hoo.
Lament as he may....it's just so funny to put the head of a tenacious politician on the head of a bully dog.  One of the early examples I found was of Teddy Roosevelt. Reportedly, he was an actual pit bull owner, and he did popularize the euphemism of the day, BULLY!   Here's some more of those!

Even our fashionable first lady is not immune to this treatment.   I've seen her morphed into many other critters as well.  No one is immune, save perhaps the children of the president.

Speaking of which...we all waited with great anticipation as our newly elected president made the harrowing choice of just what kind of puppy he would fulfill the promise of a dog to his two daughters.  A pit bull would have made a very interesting choice....

Of course, America opted out of  the famous "pit bull with lip stick" who was the choice for McCain's V.P.  More about her later, Sarah Palin deserves her own blog, lots of charming examples there to discuss.  The whole "pit bull with lipstick" is now a meme that has endured and transformed into a solid place in our lexicon.

Our president is just one of the guys, known for inviting people over for a beer. I wonder if Cesar Milan will be invited for a cerveza, and if would bring over Junior?  Junior and Bo, frolicking on the White House lawn together, imagine!  Nothing to worry about, there are armed guards after all!
Milan is on a roll with his No-Kill agenda, maybe could talk about illegal immigration
or whatever it's called now.

let's wait and see.....

Often, these dogs are used as a symbol of war itself.

The pit bull or bulldog is often used to depict Great Britain, also a popular mascot.
In World War II, Churchill himself, kind of resembled a bulldog, and was even called the Bulldog. I've met many a Bulldog named Winston.

However, Mr. Churchill was a Poodle man.  He liked truly vicious dogs, it seems.

Political Cartoon: U.S. pitbull threatens to raid Ecuador embassy to get Assange

Of course, the pit bull owner and advocate runs the political spectrum.  You have your vegan, tofu eating pit bull advocates who march for awareness, and likely vote Democrat or even the Green Party.  Then you also have your gun rack in the back of the pick-up truck Republicans.   There's people who are anti-BSL and pro gun laws, and vice-versa and every single kind of combination.  There's also tofu eating pro-BSL Democrats.   Animal rights advocate organizations such as The American Humane Society have taken a pro-pit bull stance, ignoring the carnage they cause on other animals but apparently not ignoring the millions of dollars the very slick political agendas can generate.  And very surprising... left wing pro-animal rights organization PETA has taken an anti-pit bull stance.  There are also gun toting pit bull haters who vote either Democrat or Republican.  I believe personally, that guns need to be legal as long as pit bulls roam the streets.  Guns are regulated, by the way, good thing.   It's Fascinating!   Pit bulls can bring people together, let's all sing Kum By Yah.  People of diverse political leanings, brought together by the pit bull.  Those who may never be friends, never be able to stand the company of one another, kinship found because they  have a pit bull, OR they had a bloody pit bull experience.

Then you have your dog rack on the top of the car Republicans.  Isn't it odd they used a pit bull, and not an Irish Setter for this Ad?  I rather suspect, that this was created by one of those tofu eating pit bull advocating Democrats.
