Clearance Sale! Get Your Bleeding Hearts Beauties Boobies and Bum Bums for Bullies Calendar While Supplies Last!

Here at Pit Nutter Circus, we have collected and commented on the special sexualized advocacy used to raise awareness and funds for pit bulls for quite some time now.

With all of their efforts, the REASON for the advocacy is swept under the rug.  This is highly offensive to victims of pit bull attacks.   Imagine a calendar to help the image of serial killers using sexy tattooed cream puffs?   How about a calendar to help the image of radical Islamic Jihadists, using flower wreaths or tutus?

What follows is inspired by a recent artistic effort of Jewish artist Shahak Shapira, who created a project entitled Yolocaust.  He inserted photoshopped  horrific images of the Holocaust behind  lighthearted "selfies" taken in what should have been somber Holocaust memorials.

Ironically, many pit bull advocates compare BSL to the Holocaust, but it's a very offensive and ridiculous comparison.  Recently, pit bull advocates Terry Holt and Karen Batchelor dared to make the comparison sharing a post on several of their facebook pages , and there were some pit bull advocates who were disgusted, as they should be.  There is an example below, no screenshots, it's just too tedious and so pervasive to warrant  documentation.    It's obvious too, they are not aware that Hitler had a pit bull.

FB commentor: While I am appalled by the mass killing of dogs (no matter what breed) it's totally inappropriate to compare that to the atrocities committed by the Nazis. No explanation should be needed to realize that.

When advocates try to repair the image of pit bulls use pajamas, tutus, flower wreathes, kissing booths, or cheeky burlesque photo shoots, they are lightheartedly deflecting everyone from the horrific reality, and cause of the controversy over these dogs.
If they could think on how to reduce the incidents, then they wouldn't need all of the advocacy.  It's going to be a non-ending effort, because the more these poor dogs bred for blood sport are promoted as pets, the more victims of them there will be, and more tattooed cup cakes will pose for photo shoots and pit bulls will wear "charming costumes".

What follows should offend.  Some of the images are graphic.  Please do not continue if you are very sensitive to the reality of why pit bulls have the reputation they do.  They don't care, but they are also victims too.  This kind of fluffy, sexy, advocacy ends up harming them as well.

Pin Ups for Pit Bulls

  1. This thoughtful post should be mandatory reading for pit bull advocates.

    Well done!

  2. None of the dogs in this sick post are pit bulls, but you wouldn't know that because you are sadly misinformed. You hide behind your keyboard, just as all of you head cases do. It is apparent that you all have so little to do in your pathetic existence that you have the time to put together this inaccurate depiction of pit bulls. I would love to encounter one of you in person, but that would require one of you head cases to come out of your mother's basement and interact with people in the real world. Who am I kidding, cowards never venture into the real world. Enjoy your sad existence. I'll be enjoying the real world and my loyal pit bull. He weighs 50 pounds. He is actually a pit bull. Bye Falecia.

    1. Beep Boop, who are you addressing in your comments, because it's not clear?? How many pit bulls have you owned? How much experience do you personally have with that "breed"? If you are addressing me, the pit bull breed here in america were largely used on ranches and farms. The bull and bear baiting was certainly part of their heritage as well.

    4. Beep Boop, you seem to spend more time on this blog then I do. You're pissed. YEAH, score one to the BSL team. What that is called is cognitive dissonance. You are simply wrong, it doesn't offend me, you have every right to be wrong. Pit bulls continue to be bred for their original purpose, and the ones that are not bred for dogfighting, what do do they use as sires and dams.....Boxers? If you would spend a little time actually investigating attacks, you would find that the majority of attacks by dogs are done by family pets, and most of them, are pit bulls which is what the owners, the surviving victim, or the police, or the folks at animal control, called them. I've seen many of the photos, and I agree, the attacking dogs the majority of the time are pit bull type dogs. I'm not an elitist who shares your view that only American Pit Bull Terriers that are registered with the UKC.

If there were a blog dedicated to being "Wrong",and every post argued that 1 + 1 =3, would you be as offended? Would you let it go, or would you continue to latch on, kind of a like a pit bull, originally bred as you know, for bull and bear baiting. At least you know more than Miss April, who still thinks they were originally bred to be "Nanny Dogs".

By the way, you may want to know that using the term "mongoloid" is racist and highly offensive, and no longer used by the set who consider themselves enlightened or rational. I haven't heard or seen that one since about 1972.

      Mon·gol·oid

      1. Of or being a human racial classification traditionally distinguished by physical characteristics such as yellowish-brown skin, straight black hair, dark eyes with epicanthic folds, and prominent cheekbones and including peoples indigenous to central and eastern Asia. No longer in scientific use. See Usage Note at Negroid.
      2. Characteristic of or resembling a Mongol.
      3. also mongoloid Offensive Of or relating to Down syndrome.
      n.
      1. A member of the Mongoloid racial classification. No longer in scientific use.
      2. also mongoloid Offensive A person with Down syndrome.

Anyway, I will carry on, with or without you. I find your silly and racist remarks to be a hoot.

    6. Using racial slurs is never considered "spicy". It's considered uninformed and offensive. Par for the course.

Yeah, we know all about the term "pit bull" and that it's not a specific breed, and as for what would happen if all Guardian Flock Dogs, Shepherds, Retrievers, Hounds, Terriers (excluding the American Pit Bull Terrier and the other bloodsport breeds), and those Toy Breeds, the numbers still would still be talking. Craven Desires is really fond of that Twain quote too. What you should do is actually read and find photos of dogs involved in serious and fatal attacks, you won't find many blocky headed yet far more numerous retriever type dogs.

Since we have become pen pals, I would like you to prove that a blog such as this, commenting on the blight of the blocky headed maulers, actually contributes to "pit bull" violence....or do you mean any number of the 20 or more ugly blocky headed dogs bred for bloodsport? As stated before, we don't discriminate nor are we elitist over the term pit bull. All of this shouldn't upset you, because pit bulls don't exist, and according to you, there is nothing truthful found in this blog. 1 + 1 = 3

  5. Oh dear, a fight has erupted between nutters. It appears that not even a nutter can identify a pit bull, or another nutter. Yeah right, I grew up on in ranching country next to a ranch, and never saw one pit bull. Ranchers do not use them. I think I've addressed both the Bull Baiting and the dog fighting in this post, there is an example of game bred dogs in action. You are on the same team as the people who continue to breed and participate in this gruesome sport.

    1. Oh and you are right about the few photographs that do not include pit bulls....the life flight helicopter, the amputee, and the blue cross victim's tribute.

  6. Meals on Wheels you are the only nutter. You don't have a clue on the subject matter. I grew up on a ranch in Texas and we did use pit bull terriers. They were our family pets. Most loyal dogs we've ever owned. I feel for you though. It must be sad living a life without the pleasure of owning one of these amazing dogs. Go *&%$ yourself you nutter! Bahahaha!
